Summary of family activities in April 2021.
Throughout the month of April, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra has devised various activities to promote the new exhibition Talented Painters of the Same Origin. From Rigalt to Puigdengolas to families in the country, as well as to bring art and culture closer to everyone.
To start the month of April and finish Easter at the Thyssen, the first two weekends of the month saw the famous @cthyssenandorra a #pleinair special Easter activity. Families were able to enjoy a postcard workshop with Easter motifs made with gouache. The workshop was accompanied by a fantastic tale in which the protagonist was a magic hen who created coloured eggs.
Then we organised the fourth edition of the Discover the Thyssen Talents activity. In this workshop, we introduced the famous Luminist School of Sitges. The participants were inspired by the adventures of the different Catalan artists and their goal of capturing sunlight with a magical invention. The participants were then able to create a wall decoration with solar and marine elements.
To finish off the month of April, and to celebrate Sant Jordi Day, the families discovered a modern version of the legend of Sant Jordi, with Princess Jordina in the main role. For the workshop, the participants created clay figures inspired by the story of the adventures of Princess Jordina and the terrible dragon.
From the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra, we thank you for your broad participation and we look forward to seeing you for new activities!
