The Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra reopens its doors today, Friday 12th February 2021, with a new exhibition, the result of the synergy between the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection and the Crèdit Andorrà Art Collection : Talents with Designation of Origin. From Rigalt to Puigdengolas, which you can enjoy until 9 January 2022.
The two curators of the exhibition, Guillermo Cervera and Isabel Rodríguez, embody this collaboration and underline the desire to strengthen the links between institutions for a common goal: the promotion and cultural openness of our country. This brand new exhibition will revolve around the works of artists from the Catalan Golden Age of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Casas, Urgell, Mir and Rusiñol, are some of the names you will be able to appreciate on the walls of the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra, alongside other great representatives of the famous five Catalan Schools: La Llotja, the School of Olot, the Luminists of Sitges, Els Quatre Gats and the Colla del Safrà.
We encourage you to come and discover the 23 exceptional works from the Crèdit Andorrà Art Collection and the 5 talents from the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection that accompany them, which you can also discover through the musical discourse by the ONCA Foundation’s artistic curator, Albert Gumí.
We hope to see you there!
