Musical discourse created by the ONCA Foundation

Come and discover the new exhibition of the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra through musical discourse!

The Andorra National Classical Orchestra Foundation is taking part for the first time in one of the exhibitions of the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra by creating a musical discourse that you can discover through the audio guides while enjoying the works in the new exhibition focused on the artistic dialogue between the Crèdit Andorrà Art Collection and the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection: Talented Painters of the Same Origin. From Rigalt to Puigdengolas.

Albert Gumí, artistic curator of the ONCA Foundation, has selected each of the melodies by contemporary musicians from the artists in the exhibition, from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. The result is a dialogue between art and music with various instrumental formations such as piano, guitar, singing… A way of feeling and discovering the exhibition in an original and different way.

This work, which is the result of the collaboration between the ONCA Foundation and the Museand Foundation, aims to offer the public an increasingly surprising experience.

According to Teresa Areny, project manager of the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra: “This collaboration will allow us to enjoy the works to the rhythm of chamber melodies, with the aim of creating cultural synergies between two foundations, art and music in an attractive performance for the public. The union between different arts always enriches the artistic discourse“.

This project was made possible with the collaboration of the publishing house and label La Mà de Guido.
