This week, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra inaugurates its calendar of activities for Carnival, with the opening of the new exhibition: Talented Painters of the Same Origin. From Rigalt to Puigdengolas.
According to Teresa Areny, Project Manager of the MCTA, this programme, specially designed for the whole family, aims to : “make the Talented Painters of the Same Origin. From Rigalt to Puigdengolas exhition known through fun activities that bring art closer to the family audience and to encourage our spectators to discover the new exhibition”.
Through the proposal “Carnival at the Thyssen“, we dedicate the month of February to joy and illusion!
You can’t miss it!
The programme consists of two different workshops:
– Mask workshop: Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February
This first activity will be based on the making of one of the elements that embodies the spirit of Carnival: the creation of your own mask, which you can personalise with various and original materials.
– Disguise the Talents: Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February
Through the technique of collage and on patterns, the participants will have the opportunity to disguise some of our talents as traditional characters of the Andorran Carnival. Come and transform our Catalan painters and their models into Harlequins of Canillo or into the little devils and sorcerers of Sant Julià!
