We wanted to thank you for your support, your participation and, above all, the energy that makes, day after day, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra alive. Three years have passed, and what three years!
As a cultural institution, an important part of the work is the valorization of the Carmen Thyssen – Bornemisza collection.
The motto of the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra is dynamism and creativity. For this reason, each exhibition, each thematic, is designed not only to present the collection, but especially to surprise and connect with our visitors, of all ages and of all kinds, with the works. In retrospect, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra has hold four exhibitions with four different themes:
- “Scenarios. From Monet to Estes. From Trouville to New York. ”
- “Allées et venues”. Gauguin and four centuries of paths in art. “
- “FEMINA FEMINAE. The Muses and the Collector. From Piazzeta to Delaunay ”
- “INFLUENCERS in art. From Van Goyen to “Pop Art”
In fact, what values the museum is not just the artworks, but the people who brings life to them by appreciating them. That is why we want to offer an original experience, whether through guided tours, audio-guided tours or through the different activities we organize around each exhibition (games, events, …). Thanks to your confidence, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra has a very strong connection with the youth of the country. As a place for interactivity and creation, EduCarmenThyssen’s activities and workshops inspire young people to think and express themselves in a playful way.
More than just an art showcase, the Museu Carmen Thyssen is committed to engaging in the cultural life of the country. Collaborations with current creators and artisans, or with companies and brands, prove that art goes beyond mere exhibition of works. Increasingly, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra wishes to present itself as an active member at a social level, actively participating in the acts and solidarity movements of the Principality with the public.
All this would not have been possible without your support, dynamism, enthusiasm and participation during these three years. That is why we take this special day to express our heartfelt thanks and, above all, our willingness to continue the adventure with you!
