This new edition of @cthyssenandorra a #pleinair, dedicated to International Women’s Day on 8 March, was a success!
In order to celebrate this special day, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra proposed the artist Frida Kahlo as the main theme.
On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March, participants were able to discov
er that Frida Kahlo was not only a great artist, but also a source of inspiration for future generations. A woman who still touches her audience today with her unique style.
Just like these admirers of Frida, the workshop participants were able to create their own work, inspired also by the Mexican artist’s most famous paintings, her life and her struggles for the female gender.
