The Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum has proposed, during the women’s weekend, different free activities under the title #ArtEnFemení.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, March 8, the Carmen Thyssen Museum has offered a weekend devoted to the figure of women in line with the current exhibition “Femina Feminae”.
For example, a Manakin Manifesto ceded by Via Moda, where everyone has been able to contribute their message to build a future in women, going through a conference dedicated to women artists by the Artistic Director and curator of the exhibition, Guillermo Cervera, in addition to other activities for all audiences such as an account-account workshop or a #pleinair in women with the participation of the Andorra Women’s Association.
Museu Carmen Thyssen celebrates the great participation in the guided tours specially designed for the occasion under the title “Women as an iconographic symbol”.
The closing ceremony was held in a closed museum, in a cosy atmosphere, and there was the presence of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport and President of the MuseAnd Foundation, Olga Gelabert, the Vice President of the MuseAnd Foundation , Baroness Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza as well as the Mayor of Escaldes-Engordany and Patron of the MuseAnd, Trini Marín Foundation.
In total more than 400 visitors could enjoy the activities scheduled for March 8, 9 and 10, which is valued very positively from the gallery, which will surely repeat the experience in next editions.
