This Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra celebrated a new edition of “Pay What You Wish“, an event created in collaboration with Unicef Andorra and Marissa McDonald of @Andwearis.
While using recycled materials, such as posters from previous MCTA exhibitions, Marissa McDonald accompanied the participants throughout the workshop to create a detail that often goes unnoticed, the frames of the works!
These original, personalised frames were used to complete each participant’s drawing.
Following the workshop, the families were able to visit the current exhibition Talented Painters of the Same Origin. From Rigalt to Puigdengolas, by adding a donation to their entrance fee. All the profits from the weekend were donated to Unicef for solidarity projects.
