Inspired by one of the best-known contemporary characters and taken up by artists, especially in pop art, the artist Vince Herrera illustrates a cinema icon in his work “Marilyn“.
The paintings of the artist Vince Herrera are built from the observation of everyday life, depicting people and places intertwined with graphic elements and brilliant colours.
Influenced by his Cuban American origins, Vince Herrera transfers an icon of elegance to street art, in which he combines visual elements that draw us towards hope and optimism. The result is Marilyn Monroe as a popular iconographic figure, who moves away from sobriety in search of a whole new perspective.
