The circumstances arising from COVID19 pose a challenge for both museums and educational projects. In this sense, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra is reinventing itself and has found a way to continue the EduCarmenThyssen program.
The commitment of the program is the active participation with the educational world, elaborating a plan of visits and workshops adapted to all the school levels and endorsed by the Ministry of Education of the Government of Andorra. Tours and workshops are completely free for school groups and guarantee access to the museum, the cultural and artistic world at all stages.
With the intention of continuing this access, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra has made its first visits and workshops online, with the Agora International School. 3-year-olds and 5-year-olds participated in the first sessions today; discovering at a distance the “Pop Art” works of artists such as Arman, Mercedes Lasarte or Antonio de Felipe.
