The Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra is entering the final stretch of the exhibition Influencers in Art. From Van Goyen to Pop Art, which closes its doors this Sunday 10th January 2021.
The exhibition, which was extended in September 2020 on the grounds of COVID-19, is a testimony to the solidarity and commitment to Andorran culture and society. As previously mentioned, the aim of this extension was to reduce the cost of opening a new exhibition during the summer, something that would have had an impact both artistically and technically.
For all the exhibitions, we create an artistic discourse that integrates each of the works on display. In this particular case, we have given prominence to a very topical theme, influencers. In each block, the discourse revolves around the influences of one artist on another, from the 17th century to Pop Art.
