The Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra and the Crèdit Andorrà presented “Talented Painters of the Same Origin: from Rigalt to Puigdengolas” this Monday, December 14th. De Rigalt a Puigdengolas”, the museum’s fifth exhibition that will be on display from the 12th of February 2021 until the 9th of January 2022.
The two curators of the exhibition, Guillermo Cervera and Isabel Rodriguez, embody this collaboration, and emphasise the desire to link a public and a private institution for a common goal: the promotion and cultural openness of our country.
This new exhibition, which focuses on the dialogue between the Crèdit Andorrà Art Collection and the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, will have as its anthem the promotion of Catalan artists from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. With the aim of creating a synergy between painters from two different collections, no less than 23 works from the Crèdit Andorrà Art Fund and 5 from the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection will be on exhibition, which will bear witness to this golden age of Catalan production, and through which we will even be able to discover our Andorran valleys, decades before.
