The monthly workshop @cthyssenandorra a #pleinair, for the World Environment Day, was excellently received by the participants.
For many artists and in all periods of art history, nature has always been a source of unlimited inspiration!
To celebrate the World Environment Day, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra has come up with a special activity on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 June. Through a marvellous tale, which takes place in 2071, families were able to discover Sara’s concerns about the environment. In the story, the 6-year-old girl discovers, through the explanations of her grandparents, what the earth was like 50 years ago.
During the workshop, the participants were able to imagine, like Sara, their own earth, in the shape of a globe, using acrylic paint and collage.
At the end of each session, families were able to conclude the activity by sharing their own concerns with the group on the issue of the environment.
