The conferences around Paris are main characters of the activities of November

Amor a l’art de Tània Juste and the Parisian Père Lachaise cemetery will close the 2022 conference cycle. The Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum presents its calendar of activities for the month of November with a cycle of conferences as the protagonist. Exploring the mystical landscape that evokes the Parisian cemetery of Père Lachaise and the curiosities about the famous characters found there, will be one of the themes. Also the talk on the book Amor a l’art, with the presence of the writer Tània Juste, will introduce the public to the bohemian atmosphere of the cafés of Paris in the context of the late 19th century.

On Thursday, November 10, at 7 p.m., it will be the turn of the conference “The most famous cemetery in Paris” by Charline Bony, historian and member of the museum’s production team.

On Thursday, November 24, at 7 p.m., the cycle of conferences for the current Made in Paris exhibition will come to an end. In a key of conversation and with the author Tània Juste, attendees will be able to get to know in depth the atmosphere of Paris at the end of the 19th century, described in the work “Amor a l’art”. Juste, will also talk about the inspiration of the characters that appear in her story and the role of the female artist in the context of the Montparnasse neighborhood of the 1920s. The work that won the Prudenci Bertrana prize in 2021 can be purchased, in that moment, together with the writer’s signature.

To participate in the conferences for free, you need to make a reservation in advance, as places are limited.
