The Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra presents the activities that complement the cultural offer during the exhibition season Made in Paris. In November we continue with the Paris School, one of the most interesting artistic movements in Paris at the turn of the century. The cafes in Paris became the center of the meetings of artists from all over the world and this November we will discover some of them!
On November 5th and 6th, taking advantage of the fact that it is Halloween, we will do a terrifying workshop. In this workshop we will learn about the mysterious work of the Japanese Foujita and add the dark ghosts of the Japanese imaginary to painting.
On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 November you can participate in the contest: Inclusion is everyone’s business! As every year the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra collaborates with the Fundació Privada Nostra Senyora de Meritxell to make a commemorative cup that will go on sale on December 3, the day of disability. During this weekend we will encourage families to participate in this contest by designing the drawing that will appear in this year’s cup.
On November 19th and 20th we are once again collaborating with UNICEF! On November 20, Children’s Day the museum is dyed blue. During this weekend families will be able to paint a collective mural that will be hung in the MCTA hall. But hey! We can only use blue paints, waxes and rubber bands!
On Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November we will design a Parisian poster. During the workshop, families will be able to design their own poster with typical designs of the city of lights such as cafes, the Eiffel Tour or croissants that will be provided from the MCTA.
Free activities
Saturday sessions: 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Sunday sessions: 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
During the workshops, families will be invited to discover the works treated in the activity.
