From the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra, we are pleased to share with you the calendar of family activities for the month of December, which sets the course for Christmas, with different workshops designed so that families can wish the festive season in the most original way.

- Prize-giving ceremony
Friday 2 December
On Friday 2 December, the winner of the graphic artwork competition commemorating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities will be announced. This contest, in collaboration with the Fundació Privada Nostra Senyora de Meritxell, celebrates its 7th edition. The main objective is to raise awareness in society of the rights of people with disabilities. Of the fifty works submitted, the winning design will be reproduced with a screen-printed mug.
- International Day of Persons with Disabilities
Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December
On the weekend of 3 and 4 December there will be a mask workshop designed by users of the Fent Camí training programme, an FPNM programme that trains young people with functional diversity to integrate into the workplace. During the workshop, participants will receive a random emotion and will then be able to design and paint their own masks according to the assigned emotion.
- Christmas cards from Paris
Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December
The family activities will continue on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December with a workshop to inaugurate the Christmas season. The postcard-making activity will be an artistic way of sending Christmas greetings. Using watercolours, participants will paint Christmas cards inspired by Parisian landscapes.
- Decorating the Christmas tree
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December
On 17 and 18 December it will be the turn of the workshop “Let’s decorate the Christmas tree” with kitsch balls. The activity will consist of decorating balls with very surprising elements and motifs. A workshop to transform snowmen, stars or Christmas trees into folk-style decorative pieces.
- 2×1 on tickets
Friday 23 December 2022 to 8 January 2023
Finally, to bid farewell to the Made in Paris exhibition, the interested public will be able to enjoy a 2×1 offer to visit the current exhibition from 23 December until 8 January 2023.
All family activities are free, with prior reservation and the available sessions are on Saturdays at 11.30 am, 12.30 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm and Sundays at 11 am and 12 pm.
