From the Museu Carmen Thyssen d’Andorra, we are pleased to share with you the calendar of family activities for April:

Come and enjoy Khrôma, the emotional universe of colour. An exhibition that brings together a total of 35 works classified according to their predominant colours. This highly original arrangement aims to take visitors on an emotional journey through the room, taking them on a journey through a colourful universe.

Program :

  • Create your propagandistic poster

Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April

On 1 and 2 April, the family activity will focus on the power of advertising. Based on the propaganda work of Chinese artist Wang Guangyi, families will have to create an propagandistic poster for a product using red as the main colour and other materials to create a collage.

  • Decorate your Easter egg

Taking advantage of the Easter holidays, on the weekends of 8, 9, 15 and 16 April, we will offer families the opportunity to create artistic Easter eggs, on which we will combine different techniques and painting styles. During the session, participants will have to decorate Easter eggs inspired by the style of some of the most important artists such as Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo or Wassily Kandinsky, who is part of the Khrôma exhibition.

  • Sant Jordi workshop

Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 April

On 22 and 23 April, to follow the celebration of Sant Jordi, the activities will be based on books and roses. First of all, on Saturday 22nd, we will be waiting for you at the museum for a family workshop, in which participants will be able to create a bookmark with a red rose and which must be accompanied by a poem. On Sunday 23 April, from 10 am to 2 pm, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra will take part in the Sant Jordi fair organised by the Comú d’Escaldes-Engordany. You will find us at the stand in the Plaça de les Coprínceps, where we will be selling art books and products from the museum shop.

  • Presentation of the third edition of Art fet joia

Thursday 27 April, 7 pm

On Thursday 27 April, at 7pm, you will find the new jewellery collection by the brand Shiori, with Silvia Hernández. In this third edition of Art fet joia, the collaboration will revolve around the emotional journey represented by the colours of Khrôma, together with a staging that will seek to surprise the public by immersing them in the intimate context of the jewellery’s creative process.
