Art Fet Joia is a project that connects art and jewellery through the reinterpretation of works from the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection. In each edition, Silvia Hernández captures the essence, emotions and details of a work of art, transforming them into an exclusive collection of unique jewellery pieces.
As part of International Women’s Day, the special edition of Art Fet Joia celebrated the female figure through a retrospective entitled “The Muses of the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection”, revisiting works and stories that have been part of the project over the years.
This new edition introduces a major innovation: for the first time, the public took part in selecting the artwork that inspired the jewellery collection. Through a social media competition, five works from the Collection were presented and, through several rounds of voting, participants chose the winning piece.
The selected artwork is Malvarosas, by Frederick Carl Frieseke, a delicate, luminous and deeply sensitive painting that inspired Silvia Hernández’s new creations. The result is a jewellery collection that conveys the beauty and atmosphere of the original artwork through elegant pieces filled with meaning.
The new collection is now available. Discover all the pieces on the Shiori website and own a unique jewel born from the dialogue between art, creativity and craftsmanship.
