On Thursday 14 July, the Museu Carmen Thyssen celebrated the French national day with music! As part of the Nits d’estiu als Museus programme, the MCTA offered participants a brand new immersive experience combining art and music. During the evening, saxophonist and singer Guillem Tudó took the audience on a journey to the romantic Paris of the 20th century with his interpretations of melodies by legendary French songs ans artists such as Charles Aznavour’s La bohème and Edith Piaf’s La Foule.
Echoing the exhibition Made in Paris. The generation of Matisse, Lagar and Foujita, this unique event was supported by the ONCA.
