The Carmen Thyssen Museum and Grandvalira present their collaboration agreement to approach the art to the ski domain.This is a project between both parts that will render different initiatives and play-culture actions that already belong to the brand “Have an Art day” by Carmen Thyssen Andorra. Activities already known as “@cthyssenandorra a #pleinair”, a free workshop open air, the escape room activity “Code:MCTA”. In this new experience, the museum will bring art to the Iglú Hotel 2018, expanding the cultural offer on the trails.The Iglú Hotel will become this year an ephemeral Carmen Thyssen Museum, its ice walls will welcome the sculptures inspired on some of the paintings part of the Carmen Thyssen Collection: “Mata Mua” by Paul Gauguin, “Two New York Bridges” by Lowell Nesbitt, “Sitting woman” by Juan Gris, “Water Mill in Gennep” by Vincent Van Gogh, ” The hut in Trouville, low tide” by Claude Monet, “Blue Jamaican bird” by Mercedes Lasarte and “Ten dollar bill” by Nicholas Alden Brooks.
Christian Escribà the well-known Baker who will collaborate as well with the skiing domain was part of this presentation that took place at the museum in a festive atmosphere.
