Yesterday ended the summer sessions with the Youth of the SAAS Day Center. A collaboration that the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra has been working on for two years, with the aim of bringing culture closer to the teenagers users of the Community Rehabilitation Service, the Mental Health Service.
An experience of contact with art that is valued by both entities as very satisfactory. Art is a vehicle of communication and at the same time a pleasure that must be affordable for everyone; in this sense, the program designed by the museum, brings users closer to a world full of sensations and nuances, in a space often unfrequented by teenagers with or without mental disorder.
On the other hand, it offers the possibility of attending workshops that promote expressiveness and, therefore, communication mechanisms.
In the last session, an urban art workshop was held, street spray where spray painting was the main character.
