The Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra is pleased to announce the calendar of activities for the month of September.

- – Postcards of summer memories
Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 September
On the weekend of 4 and 5 September, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra is offering a new Summer Postcards workshop. Throughout the activity, participants will be able to illustrate their best holiday memories using different techniques such as collage or gouache painting.
- @cthyssenandorra a #pleinair
Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September
On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September, the Museum will give centre stage to the famous monthly activity @cthyssenandorra a #pleinair with a free theme. Participants will be able to let their imagination run wild and paint, outdoors, with an easel and gouache paint, just as the Impressionist artists did.

- Decorative magnets workshop
Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September
On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September, it will be the turn of the Decorative Magnets workshop. Using recycled materials, participants will create these decorative elements inspired by their best travel memories.
*To celebrate the European Heritage Days, admission to the MCTA will be free on Saturday 18 September.
- Paint Romanesque iconography
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September
As part of the commemoration of the Festivity of Our Lady of Meritxell, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra invites participants to discover and be inspired by Andorra’s Romanesque heritage. On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September, the activity will begin with a memory game. Users will then paint elements of Romanesque iconography with coloured pencils.

Saturdays: 11.15 a.m. – 12.20 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. – 4.45 p.m.
Sundays: 11.15 a.m. – 12.20 p.m.

- Lecture by Ruth Casabella: The art of light. The Luminist School of Sitges
Wednesday 29 September, 7 p.m.
On Wednesday 29 September at 7 p.m., the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra awaits you with a new lecture by Ruth Casabella, head of the Escaldes-Engordany Art Centre (CAEE). The lecturer will invite the audience to discover the characteristics and the work of the famous Luministes de Sitges present in the current exhibition Talents with Designation of Origin.
