On Saturday 21 August at 8 p.m., the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra awaits you for the last activity of the Summer Nights at the Museums program: Talented Women!
For this last event of the summer, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra pays tribute to the female figure. Present in the works as models or as artists, it is through different paintings in the exhibition Talented Painters of the Same Origin. From Rigalt to Puigdengolas, the participants will undertake two parallel journeys.
Along with the guided tour that highlights the female talents in the exhibition, the audience will be able to discover the works of the Catalan composer Narcisa Freixas, performed by two members of the Jonca: violinist Carlota Franch and violist Esteve Ticó. The musical adaptation, from piano to violin and viola, was carried out by the ONCA Foundation’s artistic curator and author of the musical discourse of the current exhibition, Albert Gumí.
The visit will end in the museum’s vestibule with the performance of musical miniatures ranging from Piazzola to Béla Bartók.
