“PERSON-I+A” by Marianna Sedra is the winning proposal of the 3rd Vitrina Artística

The Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum launches the 3rd edition of the “Vitrina Artística” with the project by artist Marianna Sedra.

The Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum presents a new edition of the “Artistic Showcase,” an initiative aimed at giving visibility and support to local talent. In this third edition, the selected artist is Marianna Sedra, a multidisciplinary creator who presents the project Person-I+A [Personita].

To choose the winning artist, a public call was made to creators and artistic collectives in the country, which received high participation from projects. After a rigorous selection process, Marianna Sedra was chosen for her innovative proposal that merges sculpture and a short film generated with artificial intelligence. In this work, image and sound come together to explore themes such as identity, time, exile, and the constant search for expression in a moving world.

The museum directors, Charline Bony and Martí Pons, explain that using the museum space as a tool to promote the country’s art continues the work the museum has been doing for years, prioritizing synergies with local entities and artists. The project is designed to offer a space where contemporary artists can showcase their work.

The inauguration of Person-I+A [Personita] by Sedra will take place on Tuesday, April 1st, at 7:00 p.m., in the lobby of the Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum, and can be visited for free until June 29th.

About Marianna Sedra

Architect and artist, her career has been shaped through a deep connection with literature, art, music, and architecture, seeking the synthesis between these disciplines.

After studying in Moscow, Milan, and Barcelona, she has developed a multidisciplinary approach that integrates philology, design, and architecture, enriched by a family tradition of engineers. This technical and creative foundation has allowed her to lead projects that explore the impact of spaces on human well-being and emotional connection through neuroarchitecture.

Her work, both artistic and architectural, reflects a deep interest in generating sensory experiences that invite reflection on time, emotions, well-being, and refuge. Her latest project, Personita, exemplifies this contemporary approach, merging the abstract and conceptual to explore the relationship between individuals and the spaces they inhabit.

Her career has mainly developed in Andorra, where she applies neuroarchitecture to design spaces that promote well-being in harmony with the country’s natural and cultural environment.
