Calendar of activities: March 2023

From the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra, we are pleased to share with you the calendar of family activities for the month of February:

Come and enjoy Khrôma, The emotional universe of color. An exhibition that brings together a total of 35 works arranged by their predominant colors. This highly original arrangement is intended to give visitors an emotional journey through the room as they stroll through a colorful universe.

Program:

  • Keith Haring and colors

Saturday March 4 and Sunday March 5

On March 4 and 5, we begin our March family activities with a colorful activity based on the illustrations of urban muralist Keith Haring. Participants will have to paint these iconic drawings using complementary colors.

  • Women artists today

Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12

On Saturday March 11 and Sunday March 12, taking advantage of the proximity with the Women’s Day celebrated on March 8, we will vindicate the figure of the contemporary woman artist, for that reason the work and trajectory of the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama will be explained. For this workshop participants will have to draw a pumpkin in the style of the artist and fill it with colored dots.

  • Build your mobile

Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19

On March 18 and 19, families will discover what kinetic art is with Spanish artist Manuel Marín. During the workshop families will have to build a mobile that will make them lose their balance.
