From the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra, we are pleased to share with you the calendar of family activities for April.
Planning :
- A magical landscape
Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April
The activity “A magical landscape” will take participants to the colourful work Villar del Pedroso, by the artist Benjamín Palencia. Through a story, families will immerse themselves in a story full of adventures that take place in this Extremadura town. Afterwards, a watercolour workshop will be held.
- Let’s build stories
Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April
This weekend it will be the turn of the game of chance “Let’s build stories“, which offers you the chance to create a work of art by rolling the dice. Through this game, you will have to create a setting, a character, the colours to use and the technique to apply in its creation.
- Paris is a party
Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April
In this activity, we will encourage the public to participate in the creation of a collective mural that stages a party, as seen in the work The Dance by Emili Grau Sala. During the workshop, we will invite the participants to fill in the mural with characters created for the occasion, while discovering the nocturnal atmosphere of late 19th century Paris.
- Celebrating Sant Jordi
Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April
On the occasion of Sant Jordi, the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra is joining the fair organised by the Comú d’Escaldes-Engordany for the first time. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., you will find our stand in Plaça dels Coprínceps where you can buy books and other items from the museum. Participants who meet us at the stand can take part in an outdoor easel workshop. In addition, on 24 April we will be holding a special Sant Jordi painting workshop outside the museum.
- Artistic professions
Saturday 30th April
To celebrate International Labour Day on Sunday 1 May, we are offering the activity “Artistic Professions“. On this occasion, we will invite participants to find out what professions exist in the art world and to create their own museum.
All activities are free!
Those interested can choose their sessions now:
Saturdays: 10.30 am, 11.30 am, 12.30 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm
Sundays: 11.00 h and 12.00 h
