The Carmen Thyssen Museum Andorra will host the presentation of the new jewelry collection by the Shiori brand, in an exclusive event with live music by cellist Mireia Planas. The event will take place on June 12th and will be divided into two sessions: the first at 7:00 PM and the second at 8:00 PM. The number of places is limited, and the cost is 5 euros.
The artist and creator of Shiori, Sílvia Hernández, will present an unpublished collection inspired by the exhibition Vínculos. Cuixart converses with the Carmen Thyssen Collection. To make this possible, she has drawn inspiration from seven works from the current exhibition.
“Art made into jewelry involves a process of introspection in which, in some way, I connect with the essence of the characters depicted in the artworks, with the landscapes and the sensations they convey to me. Through selected stones and patterns created specifically for each piece, I try to evoke this essence in the form of jewelry, which in turn connects with the women who wear them. In this edition, Cuixart’s surrealism posed a new challenge, both in designing patterns and in finding the materials that best represent the surrealistic universe of the painter,” comments Hernández.
The experience will be enriched by a live performance by Mireia Planas, who, through her music, will contribute to creating a unique atmosphere. Her performance will reinforce the dialogue between artistic disciplines and add a sensory dimension to the event. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a wine tasting offered by the company Entrevins.
