Delicate watercolors take center stage in the new Vitrina Artística

Joy is the Key – Artistic Manifesto by Bea Roubo

Joy is the Key is not just a title, but a symbolic key that opens the door to a way of living, creating, and feeling. This exhibition is an invitation to reconnect with what is essential through beauty, lightness, and contemplation.

Bea Roubo, a self-taught artist based in Ordino, presents a series of watercolors that explore the concept of immateriality. Her works, marked by refined transparency, evoke natural forms — flowers, leaves, stems — that seem to float in the air, like whispers of nature. The artist uses watercolor as a medium to convey subtle emotions, silences full of meaning, and the fleeting beauty of the present moment.

This exhibition is part of a broader creative project that also includes a series of spiritual and poetic essays written by the author. In this context, Joy is the Key becomes a guiding thread: an expression of her life philosophy and artistic practice. Joy not as a goal, but as a path. Not as euphoria, but as presence.

The exhibited watercolors follow an aesthetic line that embraces transparency, simplicity, and delicacy. With a technique that is both rigorous and intuitive, Bea Roubo creates images that invite pause, breathing, and inner openness.

With Joy is the Key, the artist invites the viewer to see with the eyes of the heart. To be touched by beauty as a form of healing. To remember, perhaps, that the key to everything that truly matters is already within us.
