From the Museu Carmen Thyssen Andorra, we are pleased to share with you the calendar of family activities for May.
Programme :
- Welcome to Spring
Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May
On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May, the family activity Welcome to Spring will take place, based on the work The Porch by Cecilio Pla. This workshop will be inspired by the light and patterns of spring to create flowers with goma eva.
- Getting your hands dirty
Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May
On 14 and 15 May, the museum is offering the activity ‘getting your hands dirty‘, with clay as the main material for the ‘Let’s build a castle‘ workshop.
In this session we will be inspired by the work Castle of Briones by Gustavo de Maeztu, which is on display in the museum’s current exhibition. The participants will have to create their own castle in clay.
- International Museum Day
Wednesday 18th May
In order to participate in the celebration of the International Day of Museums, organised by ICOM and held every 18 May throughout the world, the museum will offer its public free admission.
- Museum Memory
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May
Taking advantage of the proximity of the weekend to International Museum Day, the MCTA invites you to discover the Andorran cultural heritage through a memory game on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May.
